Yesterday’s strong southerly has certainly brought the swell in.  It’s a good solid 6+ foot on the beach breaks and the outer Bombies are sucking in the swell and if you can work out the size of the wave above and that’s how big it is.  Waves will be around all day and drop slightly into the next few days.   The wind has now turned onshore from the SSE and there will be some fun good sized waves in the southern corners.  Go surfing with your gun and be safe out there.
